A planned ornament finally finished this year! Actually, this ornament has been completed a while ago, I have the time now to post my pictures and keep my blog updated also with my former handworks. / Már két éve terveztem meghímezni, az idén ősszel sikerült, a kép pedig csak most kerül föl róla.

Here are my two lately finished cross stitches that I have had among my plans for years. It was really time consuming to change colours so often, mainly at the frames of the design, but I love them - as all my creations, of course!

Preparation for Christmas / Karácsonyi készülődés

During the last years I have printed so many patterns which I was not able to complete that I have already picked some and began to stitch for Christmas. / Az elmúlt évek alatt nagyon sok olyan mintát nyomtattam ki, amelyekre nem került sor, így most párat előszedtem, hogy előbbre jussak velük még Karácsony előtt.

I have a serie of four art deco Christmas designs from a magazine which looks simply, but through the combination of the colours look so great that I cannot resist to stitch them. I began with the angel one:

I think the pictures speak for themselves - The Sweetheart Tree designs are just perfect, although I like minor changes to make them personal. / Ezek a minták annyira tökéletesek, hogy csak apró változtatásokat szoktam hozzátenni, amitől személyesebbé válnak.

I like seeing how Mill Hill beads make the ornament alive during the completion phase. And the other beautiful addition: Needle Necessities (now: ThreadWorx) Hydrangea thread. / Olyan jó érzés hímzés közben látni, ahogy a Mill Hill gyöngyök még élőbbé teszik a mintát. És nagyon szép hozzá a Needle Necessities (új nevén: ThreadWorx) színátmenetes fonal.
